This purchase is for a set of engine guards for the above bike model. The engine and luggage guards features new aluminum skid plates which can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards. Think of them as protection for your protection! The guards feature three attachment points on each side to prevent the guards from roatating in the event of a lowside. They are braced together in the center at the top and bottom to further increase its strength. Two points are clamped to the main frame and the lower point is mounted behind the foot peg. The luggage guards feature multiple mounting points and two clamps to increase the strength and prevent the guards from rotating during a lowside. The skid plate is designed to protect your bike from dirt, mud, and other debris. Made from precision CNC machined aircraft grade aluminum finished with black powder coating for durability. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
