KTM 1290 Super Adventure S & R Vandemon Full Titanium Exhaust System
Vandemon Exhaust systems achieve maximum performance & style with a great sound by doing away with the heavy and restrictive catalytic converter for which a round resonator is added in its place to soften the exhaust sound to be a pleasant and deep note whilst still being loud. The all-titanium muffler uses a twin chamber straight-through design surrounded and the absorption method provides for primary muffling without restriction to exhaust flow and enabling maximum unrestricted performance.
The use of the latest manufacturing technics & exotic materials such as Titanium makes for a significantly lighter exhaust system with less heat retention than the OEM exhaust improving comfort levels during the summer months.
Weld quality is second to none, with ultrasonically perfect welds that won't fatigue crack. In addition, each welded joint is as strong as the pipe it joins, which is essential considering the challenging conditions bumps & vibration adventure models must withstand for those asking the most from their machine.
Appearance:
Surface finish is a natural brushed finish that, when heated, changes to an iridescent blue and red as well as having an advantage over stainless steel in that Titanium won't stain, corrode or ever need polishing due to Titanium's high acid and salt resistance which also dissipates heat twice as fast as steel, further safeguarding against extended heat soak into body panels when stationary.
