  • OEM Hitachi starters for pre-89 Big Twin measure 5-1/4". OEM Prestolite starters for pre-89 Big Twin measure 6".
  • For optimum performance, use with Drag Specialties battery and battery cables. Starter motor design is more compact than the original and does not require the rear bracket. Because of the higher output, 4-gauge cables are recommended for this starter.
